The Challenge Corner Program
The Challenge Corner is a safe space where parents can be comforted, inspired, and uplifted by real life stores. Working class single parents face unique challenges. The good news is that we can all learn from each other and celebrate our ‘wins’, stories of how we overcame the challenges of single parenthood and the resulting change that took place. Parents who share their stories have a chance to win a gift card. For more detailed information, please watch our video above.

Where Challenge Meets Change
Visit again once a winner is selected.
How it works
1. Parents submit their stories by completing a short form and submitting a short 5-minute video. (NOTE: Videos more than 5-minutes in length will not be reviewed).
2. Once parents submit their story, it is reviewed by our internal team members.
3. Submissions are rated and voted on based upon several factors, with the most important being the outcome of the situation and how it benefited the children.
4. Once the winning submission is selected, the parent will be issued their gift card, and their story then shared on our website and social media platforms.
By submitting a video, the parent consents to have their name and photo shared on The Blended Tree website and social media platforms. They also acknowledge that their story, name, and video may be shared by others using our social media platforms and webpage. Please note that their location will not be shared.
How to participate
We invite parents to share their story by completing this form along with a short 5-min video. The video does not have to be professionally created, we accept videos taken with a cell phone.
Parents whose story is selected as the featured story on our website and social media pages will win a gift card*
Stories can be about any challenge related to struggles as a single parent and the resulting change that took place. We also feature inspirational quotes from parents whose story is not selected as the featured story.
*Gift cards vary in amount
